'Warm hearted people who are clearly passionate about creating a healing space for all cancer patients here at the Freeman. Their presence hits you from the moment you enter with colourful co-created artwork that feels like a gentle embrace and a shot of energy! A service with a big heart!'

Patient, March 2017

From 2013 we have been working with people living with life limiting, long term illnesses (this includes people living with cancer) in non-hospital settings to broaden the range of beneficiaries and the reach of our service. We will use the creative arts workshop as a vehicle, with the support of trained counsellor/facilitators to provide people the space to meet and talk in a supportive environment.
These workshop sessions will be held in a range of community healthcare settings in Tyne and Wear and potentially nationally when we can prove we have a viable model.
